Change your password

Do this when you know your current password.

Steps

  1. Open your Security page: in the Moraph Portal, open the menu under your name and choose Security.

  2. In Password, enter your Current password.

  3. Enter the New password and type it again in Confirm new password. It must be at least 12 characters.

  4. Choose Change password.

    Result

The page says Your password has been changed. You stay signed in on this device; every other device is signed out. We also email you to confirm the change.

Password managers can find this page through the standard address https://portal.moraph.com/.well-known/change-password.

Forgot your password?

  1. On the sign-in page, choose Forgot your password?.

  2. Enter your Work email and choose Send reset link.

    Result

The page says If that email has an account, we have sent a reset link to it. It expires in an hour.

  3. Open the email “Reset your Moraph Portal password” and select the link.

  4. On Choose a new password, enter and confirm your New password, then choose Save password.

    Result

You are taken to the sign-in page with Your password has been changed. Please sign in. You are signed out on every device, so sign in again with the new password.

The reset link works once and expires after 60 minutes. If you see This link has expired, choose Send a new link.

Note

For your privacy we show the same message whether or not the address has an account. If no email arrives, check the address and your spam folder.

Resetting your password doesn’t turn off two-step verification. You still need your authenticator app or a recovery code to sign in.

Password rules

  • At least 12 characters (up to 200).
  • Not containing the part of your email address before the @.
  • Not starting with “password” or “moraph”, and not one character repeated.

A short sentence you will remember, or a password generated by a password manager, works well.
