Getting started
Create your Moraph account
Accept an invitation from your organization, or sign up yourself and confirm your email address.
Applies to Moraph account as it works today. Moraph updates the platform continuously, and this page is reviewed when it changes.
On this page
A Moraph account gives you one sign-in for the Moraph Portal, Apps, Support, Docs and the Academy. There are two ways to get one:
- Accept an invitation. If your organization already works with Moraph, an administrator in your organization can invite you. This is the quickest way in, because you join your organization straight away.
- Sign up yourself. Anyone with a work email address can create an account. You can then ask to join your organization, and its administrators approve the request.
Before you start
- Use your own work email address. Each account is for one person; don’t share it.
- Choose a password of at least 12 characters. A short sentence you will remember works well. It can’t contain the part of your email address before the @, and it can’t start with “password” or “moraph”.
Accept an invitation
When an administrator invites you, you receive an email from Moraph Portal with the subject “Name invited you to Organization on Moraph Portal”.
Steps
Open the link in the invitation email. The page Accept your invitation shows the email address you’re joining as.
Enter your Full name and, if you like, your Job title.
Enter a Password and type it again in Confirm password.
Tick I agree to the terms of use and choose Accept invitation.
ResultYou are signed in to the Moraph Portal as a member of your organization, with the role the administrator chose for you.
Invitation links work once and expire after 7 days. If yours has expired, the page says This invitation has expired; ask the person who invited you to send a new one.
If you already have a Moraph account with the same email address, the invitation page asks for your current password instead of a new one. Enter it and choose Accept invitation to join the organization.
Sign up yourself
Go to portal.moraph.com/signup. The page is called Create your Moraph account.
Under About you, enter your Full name, Work email and Organization. Job title and Phone are optional.
Under Password, enter your Password and Confirm password.
Tick the box to agree to the terms of use and the Privacy Policy, then choose Create account.
ResultThe page Check your email appears. We send a confirmation link to the address you entered.
Open the email with the subject “Confirm your email for Moraph Portal” and select the link, on the same device if you can.
ResultYour email address is confirmed and you are signed in to the Moraph Portal.
The confirmation link works once and expires after 48 hours. If it doesn’t arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder, or choose Send a new link on the Check your email page.
If you created an account but never confirmed it, signing in sends you a fresh confirmation link.
What happens next
An account you created yourself doesn’t belong to an organization yet. Until it does, you can raise general support requests (S3 and S4) and read public documentation, but you can’t see your organization’s workspace. To join, ask your organization’s administrators to approve you.
We recommend turning on two-step verification as soon as your account is ready. Some organizations require it.
If something goes wrong
| What you see | What to do |
|---|---|
| The confirmation email never arrives | Check spam, then choose Send a new link. If you already had an account with that address, we email its owner instead of creating a second account, so try resetting your password. |
| This link has expired | The link is older than 48 hours or was already used. Sign in with your email and password, and we send a new one. |
| Too many sign-ups from your network | Several accounts were created from your network in the last hour. Try again later. |
| A password message such as Use at least 12 characters | Choose a longer password that doesn’t include your email name. |
