Administration
Approve or decline join requests
Review people who asked to join your organization, approve them with a role, or decline with a reason.
Applies to Moraph Portal as it works today. Moraph updates the platform continuously, and this page is reviewed when it changes.
When someone with your organization’s email domain creates a Moraph account and asks to join, every administrator gets a notification and email, “Name asked to join Organization”. The People and access item in the sidebar shows how many requests are waiting.
Before you start
You need the Administrator role. Check that you recognize the person: a join request only proves they control the email address.
Steps
Open People and access and choose the Join requests tab.
Read the request: name, email, job title, when they asked, and their message if they wrote one.
To approve, choose a Role (Member to start with) and choose Approve.
ResultThe page says Request approved. They’ve been told and can sign in to the workspace now. Their earlier support tickets become part of your organization’s tickets.
To decline, optionally write a Reason (optional, shared with them), choose Decline and confirm.
ResultThe page says Request declined. They’ve been told. They receive your reason.
Answered requests move to Earlier requests, with the outcome: approved with the role, declined, or withdrawn by the person.
When there are no requests, the tab says No requests waiting.
Requests that don’t match a domain
People whose email doesn’t match your organization’s domain still can ask. Their requests go to Moraph’s client team, who confirm with your administrators before adding anyone.
